
The Irish Junior Cross-country Championship took place on Saturday in Inchicore, near Dublin, amid blizzard conditions. Despite the harsh weather, athletes displayed exceptional determination and resilience.
Galway Harriers emerged victorious with 58 points, closely followed by Ballinasloe with 59 points, Limerick with 78 points, and Leinster with 137 points. Hamilton from Galway Harriers demonstrated outstanding skill as the first man to finish the race, clocking a remarkable time of 32 minutes and 49 seconds. This championship event showcased the grit and dedication of these young Irish athletes in an extremely challenging environment.
