On a particular night in Limerick last week, a soldier kicked a plate glass window in a local store and both he and another soldier were sentenced to a month of hard labor. Although they received punishment, they were not discharged from their regiment and were required to pay for the damaged window. Some may consider the punishment too severe, but very few soldiers could be spared from the King’s army at that time.
