
The Town Clerk of Limerick recently received a telegram from The Hague on behalf of Mr Steyn. In the message, Mr Steyn’s Private Secretary, Mr Fraser, conveyed his gratitude to the Corporation of Limerick for bestowing upon him the Freedom of the City of Limerick. The message read, “In the name of his honour, Mr Steyn, I thank the Corporation of Limerick cordially for the honour conferred upon him by granting the freedom of the City of Limerick.”
