Please be informed that in accordance with the relevant Acts, including the Limerick No. 1 Rural District Labourers’ Order, 1902 (Part II), the Local Government Board for Ireland has appointed John P. Haunigan, Esquire, J.P., of Altamira, Buttevant, County Cork, as the arbitrator between the Limerick No. 1 Rural District Council and the individuals with a vested interest in the lands and properties required for the aforementioned order. The arbitrator’s role will involve assessing the value of the lands and properties, as well as determining the appropriate purchase price or compensation.
Furthermore, it is hereby notified that on November 2, 1903, maps, plans, schedules, and estimates of the said lands and properties were deposited with the Local Government Board for Ireland at their office in the Custom House, Dublin. Copies of these maps, plans, schedules, and estimates were also deposited at the District Council’s office in the Limerick Union Workhouse on the same day. Interested parties may inspect these copies at the District Council’s office between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., excluding Sundays.
All individuals who claim to have any rights or interests in the lands and properties mentioned above are required to provide a written statement, postmarked no later than January 16, 1904, to John P. Haunigan, Esquire, at the aforementioned address. This statement should detail the nature of the claim and the amount of compensation or purchase price sought by the claimant.
On Monday, January 18, 1904, at 11 a.m., the arbitrator will hold a hearing at the Board Room in the Limerick Union Workhouse to consider the claims of all individuals who have submitted their statements within the specified timeframe. The arbitrator will then make determinations regarding the amount of compensation to which each claimant may be entitled.
