The Committee of Management of the Limerick District Lunatic Asylum is inviting tenders from farmers and butter merchants for the supply of butter to the institution. The tender will be considered at a meeting on Wednesday, April 13, 1904. The asylum is seeking the supply of the following types of butter:
- Best centrifugal creamery butter
- Farmer’s separated cream butter
The supply period is from May 1, 1904, to September 30, 1904. The price should be stated per pound (no empties returned). Tender forms can be obtained at the Storekeeper’s Office between 10 am and 5 pm, but tenders will only be accepted if submitted before 10:30 am on April 13, 1904. Contractors who are awarded the contract will be required to execute a bond at their own expense and must attend the Clerk’s office with their sureties within ten days of the declaration of the contract to sign the bond. It should be noted that the lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.
