It is with great admiration for Mr Henry O’Shea’s long and valuable services to Ireland that we are reaching out to the Nationalists of Ireland to show their appreciation. Mr O’Shea, of George Street, Limerick, has been a dedicated Irish Nationalist for over half a century, and his contributions to the cause are well-known and commendable. Now, as he faces family troubles and advancing age, we believe it is our duty to support him in his declining years.
A committee of friends and admirers has been formed to present a suitable testimonial to this veteran Irish Nationalist. We cordially invite your support and cooperation in this endeavour. Mr O’Shea’s dedication and sacrifices for the National cause have been remarkable, and we seek to honour him for his unwavering commitment.
We urge you to consider contributing to this effort by offering a subscription to the Hon. Treasurers. Any amount, big or small, will be greatly appreciated. All subscriptions will be acknowledged, and your generosity will be a testament to your appreciation of Mr O’Shea’s invaluable services.
Signed on behalf of the Committee,
M. Joyce, Mayor, Chairman.
Stephen O’Mara, Alderman, Hon. M. Donnelly, ex-Mayor, Treas.
George MacDonagh, Hon. Sec.
Please feel free to add your contribution and join us in honouring this remarkable individual who has dedicated his life to the Nationalist cause. Together, we can show our gratitude and support Mr O’Shea in his well-deserved recognition.
Yours sincerely,
The Committee
