Alderman O’Donovan, the Mayor of Limerick, took centre stage on Friday night to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of students at the Technical Institute. Under the leadership of Mr James Comerton, B.A., Principal of the institute, a total of 788 students were enrolled for the past season, demonstrating a strong commitment to technical education.
During the ceremony, Mr Comerton detailed the prizes and certificates bestowed upon the diligent students, highlighting their dedication and hard work in various arts and crafts disciplines. The Mayor expressed heartfelt congratulations to the pupils, teaching staff, and Principal, emphasizing the remarkable merit of their achievements.
In his remarks, the Mayor underscored the invaluable role of the Technical Institute in equipping students with practical skills and knowledge essential for their future endeavours. He commended the institute for its commitment to excellence and affirmed his unwavering support for its continued success.
