MICHAEL TRACY WAS ORDAINED FOR THE DIOCESE OF LIMERICK, IN 1916

MICHAEL TRACY WAS ORDAINED FOR THE DIOCESE OF LIMERICK. HE SERVED AS CURATE IN MONAGEA, ASKEATON AND ST MICHAEL’S BEFORE GOING TO ROME FOR STUDIES IN 1924. HE WAS APPOINTED PROFESSOR OF ORGAN AND GREGORIAN CHANT AT MAYNOOTH COLLEGE IN 1927, WHERE HE SPENT THE REST OF HIS MINISTRY. HE DIED ON 19 MAY 1954, AGED 62 AND IS BURIED IN THE COLLEGE.
