The Abbey River Is A River In Limerick City, Ireland. It Flows Through The City Centre, Dividing It Into Two Halves, And Ultimately Empties Into The River Shannon. The Abbey River Is Approximately 1.5 Km Long And Is Connected To A Number Of Other Rivers And Canals In The Area, Including The Shannon River And The Mulcair River. The River Played An Important Role In The Economic And Social History Of Limerick, Serving As A Key Transportation Route For Goods And People. Today, It Is A Popular Spot For Boating And Leisure Activities, With A Number Of Parks And Walkways Lining Its Banks.
