The marriage of Mr Robert G. Eden, brother of the Bishop of Wakefield, and Betty Banbury, third daughter of the Bishop of Limerick, took place in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Limerick. The ceremony was performed by the Bishop of K’allaloe, assisted by the Bishop of Limerick, who gave his daughter away. The Hon. Clive Vivian served as best man, while the bride’s train was carried by Lord Glentworth. Six bridesmaids accompanied the bride, including her sister, Miss Barbara Banbury. After the service, the bridal party and friends gathered at the Palace before the newlyweds left for Italy.
