
Limerick mourns the loss of Brother Ambrose Clarke, a devoted Christian Brother who passed away at the age of 78, after a long and impactful religious life of 56 years. Known for his dedication to educating Irish youth about faith and patriotism, Brother Ambrose served in various locations, including Manchester, London, Preston, Adare, Nenagh, and Dingle, before returning to Limerick six years ago to celebrate his Golden Jubilee. He had been unwell for the past two months but passed away peacefully, surrounded by the faith and consolation of the Church.
