While sailing with the German training squadron, Prince Henry plans to pay a special visit to his uncle, the Duke of Connaught, who commands forces in Ireland. In anticipation of a warm reception, a number of ceremonial calls will be made as well. Prince Henry has also been invited to visit Adare Mansion in County Limerick, but it is uncertain whether he will be able to accept the invitation. Adare Manor, located in County Limerick, is a magnificent 19th-century neo-Gothic mansion nestled on a sprawling 840-acre estate. Surrounded by lush gardens, scenic woodlands, and the River Maigue, the manor’s stunning architecture and picturesque setting would make it a popular destination for visitors and a potential stop for Prince Henry during his visit to Ireland.
