Lord Dunraven And Sir Richard Griffith To Part Ways With Racing Stables

Adare Manor, near Limerick – In a significant development for the horse racing community, Lord Dunraven has announced his retirement from the turf. However, he intends to maintain his involvement in the industry by keeping his stud farm at Adare Manor. Lord Dunraven’s yearlings will be presented for sale annually at Doncaster.

Similarly, Sir Richard Griffith has made the decision to discontinue his racing stud. As a result, his horses currently in training will be sold at Newmarket during the upcoming autumn sales.

Despite their withdrawals from active participation in the racing world, it is anticipated that both Lord Dunraven and Sir Richard Griffith will maintain their connections with the turf. In fact, Lord Dunraven has already entered three yearling fillies for the Oaks of 1906, indicating a potential return to racing in the future.

These changes in ownership and stable management will undoubtedly draw the attention of horse racing enthusiasts, who will be eager to witness the future endeavours of Lord Dunraven and Sir Richard Griffith within the industry.
