Limerick, Tuesday, August 30, 1904 – The People’s Park Committee of the County Borough Council of Limerick has announced that it will be considering tenders for a painting project at the Gardener’s Lodge in People’s Park. The meeting to review the tenders will take place on September 7th.

Interested painters can obtain the specifications for the project from the City Surveyor’s office, located at the Town Hall. Only tenders from individuals or companies who adhere to the Fair Wages resolution of the Council will be accepted. The chosen contractor will be required to provide a bond and contract ensuring the proper execution of the work. Approval for the bond and contract will be granted by the Law Agent.

Tenders should be sealed and clearly marked “Tender for Painting” and must be submitted to the designated authority before 4 o’clock pm on the aforementioned date. It is important to note that the lowest bid may not necessarily be accepted.
