The end of August marked the conclusion of the summer season at Kilkee, a charming coastal destination. The season, which extended into September, proved to be exceptionally successful for residents, hoteliers, and local businesses. The influx of visitors was greater than ever before, with many choosing to extend their stays beyond the usual duration. This contrasted with the previous year’s lacklustre atmosphere, and the popularity of Kilkee among Limerick residents should encourage the Town Commissioners to make additional efforts to attract visitors. There is certainly room for further development in order to capitalize on Kilkee’s appeal to both locals and tourists.
