It has been revealed that two highly anticipated matches have been arranged for the upcoming Limerick Race Meeting, scheduled to take place on the 5th and 6th of October.

The first match, set at £25 per side, will feature Mr Donovan’s 12-year-old gelding by Tacitus out of Lady Blanche, and Mr Gardiner Wallis’s Agitator, aged and carrying 11st 4lb. This thrilling contest will cover a distance of three miles on the flat, promising a spectacle that is sure to capture considerable interest.

The second match, with stakes set at £40 per side, will showcase Mr E. P. Ryan’s four-year-old King’s Bounty, carrying 7st 9lb, against Mr W. N. W. Gape’s three-year-old Taglioni, carrying 8st 9lb. This match will be contested over a distance of one mile and a quarter on the flat, adding further excitement to the racing program.
