GAA Meeting Of Munster Council

A special meeting of the Munster Council took place in Limerick last Sunday evening with important matters on the agenda. Mr T.F. O’Sullivan, the President, along with Mr A. Black from Tralee, representing Kerry, were in attendance. One of the key decisions made during the meeting was to schedule the football match between Cork and Kerry to be held in Limerick on October 30th. Mr J.L. O’Toole, the Secretary of the Central Council, was appointed as the referee for the match.

The meeting also addressed an appeal from Kerry regarding a decision made by the Munster Council. The main point of contention raised was whether Dr Coll had the right to represent Limerick. After a thorough discussion, the matter was referred back to the Munster Council for further consideration.

These deliberations and decisions demonstrate the active involvement and dedication of the Munster Council in overseeing Gaelic games in the region. The upcoming match between Cork and Kerry promises to be a highly anticipated event, attracting enthusiastic supporters from both counties. The Munster Council continues to play a vital role in ensuring fair play and upholding the integrity of Gaelic football in the province.
