Notice Of Charitable Bequests

In accordance with the provisions of Statutes 30 and 31 Victoria, Cap. 34, notice is hereby given regarding the charitable bequests made by the late Mary Kenny, formerly residing at 6 and 7 Cornmarket Row, in the City of Limerick. The deceased, who passed away on April 27th, 1904, bequeathed the following sums: Ten Pounds to the Roman Catholic Administrator and Curates of St. Michael’s Parish in Limerick, Ten Pounds to the Treasurer of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Limerick, Twenty Pounds to the Prior of the Dominican Convent on Glentworth Street, Limerick, Twenty Pounds to the Rector of the Redemptorist Community in Limerick, and the remaining balance of a certain sum of money in the Limerick Post Office Savings Bank to Reverend J. Lee of St. Michael’s Parish Church, Limerick, to be utilized for the construction of St. Joseph’s New Church in Limerick.

Probate of the aforementioned Will was granted on September 23rd, 1904, by the Limerick District Registry of the King’s Bench Division (Probate) of the High Court of Justice in Ireland to Reverend John Lee, the Executor named in the Will.
