
Kilkee – The members of St. Michael’s Women’s Total Abstinence Sodality embarked on a truly enjoyable trip to Kilkee on Sunday. With great enthusiasm, over a thousand women boarded two trains, accompanied by Reverend J. M. Cregan, Adm, St. Michael’s Director, along with several parish clergy members and some dear friends from outside the parish.
The train journey to Kilkee was pleasant and swift, allowing the visitors to revel in the picturesque views of the coastal scenery. Upon arriving at Kilkee, the group was greeted by invigorating sea air, adding to the excitement of the outing.
The women indulged in the beautiful surroundings, making the most of their few hours in Kilkee. The charm of the seaside town captivated everyone, and they relished the refreshing atmosphere by the shore.
Later in the day, the group gathered for a delightful tea, sharing stories and laughter, further strengthening their bonds of camaraderie. As the time to return approached, the journey back to Limerick was smooth and timely, ensuring everyone’s high spirits persisted until the end.
The day’s outing left an indelible mark of joy and happiness in the hearts of the participants. The St. Michael’s Women’s Total Abstinence Sodality cherished every moment spent in Kilkee, creating memories that will be treasured for years to come.
