Moreover, a Second Class certificate grants admission, almost free of expense, to various centres authorized by the Government and conducted by the Sisters Faithful Companions of Jesus. These centres are dedicated to training pupil teachers and can be found in places such as Salford, Manchester; Sowerstown, London; Holt Hull, Birkenhead; Bellerive, Liverpool; Middlesborough; and Hartlepool.
The Convent’s educational program emphasizes the development of moral, physical, and aesthetic factors in the curriculum. A highlight of the course is the study of Gaelic, which proves to be an attractive and important feature. Additionally, on September 8th, the Convent will introduce a systematic course of Domestic Training, including cooking, laundry, and other essential skills, led by a Professional Expert with a First Class Diploma.
For those interested in enrolling their daughters at the Convent, studies will resume on Wednesday, September 6th. The yearly pension fee is 20 guineas. For further information and details, interested parties are encouraged to contact the Reverend Mother.
