THE JESUIT ORDER: Changes in the Limerick House

The Jesuit Order in Limerick has undergone some changes in its leadership and positions. The Very Rev Father Maher has been appointed as the new Rector, taking over from the previous leadership. Additionally, there have been several other transfers within the Order in the city:

  1. The Rev Father Fottrell is now the Spiritual Director of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary (B.V.M).
  2. The Rev Father Farley has been assigned as the Spiritual Director of the Apostleship of Prayer.
  3. The Rev Fathers Elliott and Harte have also been involved in the transfers.

Moreover, the new Rector, the Very Rev Father Browne, has taken up his position. He is the brother of Mr J.J.F. Browne, who hails from Limerick.

In addition to the mentioned changes, the Rev Father McLaughlin, SJ, has been transferred to the Limerick House. Furthermore, Rev Father Jeffcoat, SJ, is appointed as the new Spiritual Director of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

These adjustments signify the ongoing dynamics and organizational shifts within the Jesuit community in Limerick.
