The upcoming Limerick Races, to be held on Wednesday and Thursday, have rightfully earned a prominent position among Ireland’s top-class meetings. The organizers have demonstrated greater generosity in offering higher stakes, addressing the previous limitation that held back the event’s success. Now, with a modern course and well-equipped facilities, the races are set to deliver exciting sporting action.
Mr M. J. Kenny, the clerk of the course, reports that the track conditions are excellent, promising a thrilling spectacle. The carefully curated program for each day ensures an abundance of runners, with a total of 157 entries—77 for the first day and 80 for the concluding day.
The strong support from owners and trainers is evident, and over 50 boxes have already been reserved for horses attending the meeting, indicating a highly successful fixture.
The order of running for each day is as follows:
FIRST DAY:
- The Directors Plate
- The Stewarts Plate
- The Tradesman’s Plate

With such an impressive lineup and enthusiastic participation from horse owners and racing enthusiasts, Limerick Races are set to be an exhilarating and memorable event.
