During the proceedings, various matters were addressed:
- The Local Government Board provided approval for payments to Dr Holmes (£4 4 0d), Dr Jon J. O’Brien (£21 3s 0d), and Dr O’B Maloney (£5 4s 0d) for their contributions under the last Improvement Scheme related to the Labourers’ Acts.
- In response to the Council’s application for £170, approved by the Local Government Board for well sinking and erection, the Board expressed that such specialized work required constant supervision by an experienced well sinker.
- The Local Government Board granted £2 and £3 to the gate porter and hall porter, respectively, as compensation for their services during the recent local inquiry under the Improvement Scheme. However, it was emphasized that the granting of this money should not set a precedent.
