In a solemn and poignant ceremony, the remains of Mr Patrick S. McAuley were laid to rest following his untimely and tragic death at Limerick Junction. The funeral took place after the 10 o’clock Mass on a Saturday morning, drawing a crowd of mourners and well-wishers to pay their final respects at St. Joseph’s Church, Berkeley Road, Dublin.
The graveside service was officiated by Reverend Father Coffey, C.C., with the presence of several clergymen, including Reverend John Carr, C.A.L., Reverend J.
