Limerick, Tuesday. The authorities are actively investigating an attempted act of violence in County Limerick, where an individual’s house was targeted in a midnight explosion. County Inspector Yates, along with other law enforcement officials, is working to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The targeted residence belongs to John Crowe, a local farmer. The attack involved two boxes filled with powder and scrap iron, strategically placed outside the house. The explosion occurred around midnight on Saturday night, causing damage to the property. The blast blew away the window sash, a portion of the ceiling, and dislodged slating.
Remarkably, the second box, which was positioned within the kitchen where the family was sleeping, did not detonate. Fortunately, none of the occupants sustained injuries as a result of the incident.
Authorities are treating this event seriously and are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the motives behind the attempted attack. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case, and the local community remains on edge as law enforcement works diligently to ensure the safety and security of residents in the area.
