
Limerick welcomed the esteemed Irish Guards’ Band with open arms as they arrived yesterday evening from Tralee. The atmosphere at the railway station was electric, with people from all walks of life gathering to greet the band with enthusiasm.
Under the command of Captain Vesey, the band paraded through the city’s main streets, filling the air with stirring national melodies. Their arrival was met with resounding cheers that reverberated along the entire route, echoing the city’s deep appreciation for the musical ensemble.

The Irish Guards’ Band plans to extend their stay until Saturday, with Thursday marked for a visit to Nenagh before their departure. Today, they will be treated to the hospitality of Ennis before continuing their journey.
