The Limerick Board of Conservators recently convened at the The Courthouse, Glin, Thomas E. Pegum presiding over the triennial meeting. Representatives from various divisions, including the A. Flectorsi Division, No. 5 Limerick District, were present to elect members to key positions.
Dr S. Pegum and Messrs. Walter E. Bartholomew Culligan, M. Kiting, W. J. Comain, and Joseph C. Peg were elected to represent the A. Electors Division, reflecting a diverse range of perspectives within the board.
Subsequently, attention turned to the C. Electoral Division, No. 8 District, where three members were to be elected to represent the area’s interests. Dr John O’Halloran, along with Messrs. Benjamin Johnston and Herbert Fitzgerald, emerged as the chosen representatives after a democratic election process.
The triennial meeting showcased a commitment to democratic principles and the representation of various constituencies within the Limerick Board of Conservators.
