Miss Mary Joyce, Eldest Daughter of Limerick’s Mayor, Weds Mr Michael Canningham in Elegant Ceremony

On a sunny Monday morning at St. Joseph’s Church, a joyous union was celebrated as Miss Mary Joyce, the beloved eldest daughter of Alderman M. Joyce, Mayor of Limerick, exchanged vows with Mr Michael Canningham, hailing from Cork. The ceremony was beautifully conducted by Rev. J.M. Cregan, Adm, and Rev. J. Lee, ¢¢, adding a touch of divine grace to the occasion.

Radiant and charming, the blushing bride walked down the aisle, accompanied by her proud father, the Mayor, who gladly gave her hand to Mr Canningham. The groom was supported by Mr Madigan as his best man.

The bridal party, looking resplendent, included the neatly attired bridesmaids, Miss Mary Maboney, and Miss L. Gilligan.

Prior to the ceremony, a heartfelt Nuptial Mass was celebrated, with Mr Paul Bernard skillfully playing the enchanting wedding march.

After the vows were exchanged, a delightful breakfast was shared at the residence of the bride’s father on Henry Street. The happy newlyweds then embarked on their journey to Dublin, carrying the blessings and best wishes of their loved ones.
