The Committee of Management of the Limerick District Lunatic Asylum has announced that tenders will be considered for the supply of various articles for the institution for the twelve months from April 1, 1905, to March 31, 1906. The articles required include beef and mutton of the first quality, cuttings, and Indian meal.
The tender forms and conditions can be obtained at the Storekeeper’s Office until 7th March 1905 at 5 p.m. No tenders will be issued on board day. Contractors who win the tender will be required to execute a bond at their own expense and attend at the Clerk’s Office with their sureties within ten days from the acceptance of the tender. Failure to do so will result in the annulment of the contract.
All tenders should be properly endorsed and addressed to the Resident Medical Superintendent, to be lodged in the tender box at the Asylum boardroom before 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 8th March 1905. The Committee reserves the right not to accept the lowest or any tender.
