Irish Land and Labour Association Grange Branch Holds Meeting

A meeting of the Irish Land and Labour Association Grange Branch took place on Sunday, with several members in attendance. The following individuals were present: John Blake, F. O’Dwyer, Michael O’Brien, James O’Dwyer, James Ahern, Pat O’Shea, Pat Harty, James Harty, John Clancy, Owen Dillon, Pat Clancy, John Bourke, Tom Fitzgerald, John O’Dwyer, William Casey, and John Ryan. Tom Houlihan was also present, and Mr Patrick Clancy was unanimously elected as the new chairman after Mr Joseph O’Dwyer tendered his resignation. Mr John Bourke was elected as the vice-chairman.

During the meeting, a motion proposed by Pat Clancy, seconded by Pat O’Dwyer, was unanimously passed. The motion expressed heartfelt congratulations to Mr Joseph O’Dwyer on his departure from the branch to take charge of recently acquired licensed premises in Kilbane, in another county. The members wished him happiness and prosperity in his new venture.

Moreover, John O’Dwyer and John Bourke were appointed as representatives to attend the upcoming meeting of the County Organising Committee, scheduled to take place at the Mechanics’ Institute in Limerick on March 17th.
