“Charming Wedding at Doon Church, Co. Limerick”

A beautiful wedding took place at Doon Church, Co. Limerick, on the 10th of the month. Geraldine Harriet May, daughter of the late Mr. Newport-White of Kilmoylan, Doon, married Chilcott Douglas, son of the late Colonel Russell Harris of Kingstown, Co. Dublin. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. J. White-Bell, and Mrs. Newport-White gave her daughter away.

The bride wore an ivory satin gown with Honiton lace, adorned with pearls and diamonds, and carried a shower bouquet. Her sister, Miss H. Newport-White, along with Miss White-Bell, Miss R. Hunt, and Miss Geraldine Hunt, served as bridesmaids. The older bridesmaids wore French grey cashmere with turquoise blue and Maltese lace, while the younger children donned white silk frocks and hats with turquoise blue accents.
