Marriage of Miss O’Mara At New Church

In Limerick, on Tuesday, the wedding of Miss O’Mara and Dr William O’Sullivan, son of Mr Daniel O’Sullivan of Limerick, took place at St. Joseph’s new Church. The nuptial Mass and marriage ceremony was conducted by Reverend Dr William O’Sullivan, assisted by several other clergy members including Reverend J. M. O’Regan, Reverend Dr O’Riordan, Reverend Father O’Connor, Reverend Father Begley, and Reverend Father Duhig.

The bride looked stunning in a white silk dress adorned with Limerick lace, complemented by a veil of the same material. She carried a beautiful bouquet of orange blossoms. The bridesmaids, wearing matching hats, were Miss Nellie O’Mara, Miss Dot Judge, Miss Clancy, and Miss Turner.

After the ceremony, Mendelssohn’s “Wedding March” played as the couple walked down the aisle. The altar was tastefully decorated, creating a beautiful setting for the wedding.

Alderman and Mrs O’Mara hosted a reception at Hartstonge House to celebrate the occasion. Later, Mr and Mrs O’Sullivan departed for Dublin, where they would continue their journey to the Continent for their honeymoon.
