
Lady Emly’s nomination for the representative position of the Carrig electoral division on the Limerick No 1 District Council has garnered support from various quarters, with her name appearing in five different papers. The nominations reflect the diversity of those backing her candidacy.
In the first paper, Mrs. Margaret O’Dea has put forth Lady Emly’s name as the proposer, seconded by Mr James Purcell of Newtown. The second paper features Mr John Mulqueen of Newtown as the proposer and Mr William Coleman of Carrig View as the seconder.
On the third paper, Lady Emly’s nomination comes from Mr John Callaghan of Tervoe, with Mr James Weekes of Carrig East acting as the seconder. In the fourth, Mr John Breen of Newtown proposes Lady Emly’s name, seconded by Mr John McNamara of Newtown.
Finally, the fifth paper has Mr Thomas Irwin of Cooper Hill as the proposer and Mr John Reidy of Tervoe as the seconder for Lady Emly’s nomination.
