Narrow Escape in Limerick: A Close Call for Mr J. P. Lynch

On Sunday evening, Mr J. P. Lynch, P.L.G., had a harrowing experience that could have resulted in a serious motor accident. While cycling down George Street, a motor car suddenly appeared from around the corner of Roche’s Street, traveling at a reckless speed and failing to signal with the horn. Furthermore, the car was on the wrong side of the road, posing a grave danger.

Fortunately, Mr Lynch narrowly avoided a collision, managing to escape by a hair’s breadth. We are relieved to report that he emerged from the incident unharmed, and we extend our congratulations to him on his quick reflexes and good fortune to have come away without injury. Such incidents serve as a reminder of the importance of cautious driving and adherence to traffic rules to ensure the safety of all road users.
