During a special meeting at the County Courthouse, the Limerick County Council unanimously passed a resolution in support of Mr C. F. Hartigan, a tenant facing eviction in Ballynanty. The resolution, proposed by Mr John M. O’Shaughnessy, Councillor for the Glin division, expressed the Council’s sympathy and backing for Mr Hartigan’s efforts to reclaim the farm of his ancestors, which they firmly believe he is entitled to possess. The Council hopes that the matter can be resolved amicably, especially in light of recent actions to return such holdings in the county to their rightful owners.
