
In accordance with the Local Government (Ireland) Act of 1898, the County of Limerick, specifically the Rathkeale division, has received notices of applications for compensation due to criminal injuries. These applications will be presented for trial at the upcoming County Court Sittings scheduled to take place in Rathkeale on the 19th day of October, 1905. The details of these cases are as follows:
- Denis Cregan, residing at Kilmurry Lane, Ballyagran, County Limerick, is claiming compensation of £12 for maliciously injuring, destroying, and throwing down a ditch on the 4th of July, 1905, at Kilwurry Lane, Kilweedy parish, County Limerick.
- Dr Patrick T Dillon, of Ballydonohoe, County Limerick, is claiming £40 in compensation for maliciously stabbing a pony on the 3rd of June, 1905, at Ballydonohoe, Kilfergus parish, County Limerick.
- James O’Shaughnessy, residing in Ballyveogue, County Limerick, is claiming £30 in compensation for maliciously burning a dwelling house and stable on the 30th of August, 1905, at Ballyveogne, Nintenan parish, County Limerick.
- Hanora Magner, of Glenquin, County Limerick, is claiming £7 for maliciously burning a wind of hay on the 23rd of August, 1905, at Glenquin, Killeedy parish, County Limerick.
- Edmond Kelly, residing at Blossom Hill, Kilcornan, County Limerick, is claiming £20 for maliciously stabbing a gelding on the 27th or 28th of June, 1905, at Blossom Hill, Kilcornan parish, County Limerick.
- James Cronin, of Askeaton, County Limerick, is claiming £49 for maliciously injuring a mare on the 1st of June, 1905, at Foynes, County Limerick.
- John Magner, residing in Wolfinburgess, County Limerick, is claiming £7 10s 4d for maliciously killing a yearling heifer on the 25th or 26th of May, 1905, at Kilscannell, Kilscannell parish, County Limerick.
It is important to note that the County Court Judge has scheduled the hearing of the above applications for Saturday, the 21st of October, at 11 o’clock.
