
A significant crowd of over 7,000 Gaelic enthusiasts gathered at Jones’s Road in Dublin on Sunday to witness an intense contest for the Leinster Shield between the Munster and Leinster teams. Limerick was well represented in the Munster team by players A. Quillinan, W. Daly, and Jim Riordan.
The Leinster team emerged victorious with a score of 8 points against Munster’s 5 points. The Munster team was close to securing victory, but their hopes were dashed when they were penalized at the last moments of the match.
The Leinster Shield match attracted a substantial audience, reflecting the strong support and interest in Gaelic sports among the spectators.
