
The Proposals Committee of the Limerick County Council is set to consider proposals for printing various lists and forms related to parliamentary voters, jurors, and franchise acts. This meeting is scheduled for Saturday, November 4th, 1905.
The items to be printed include:
- Parliamentary Voters’ and Jurors’ Lists
- Parliamentary Registers for Eastern and Western Divisions of the County
- Requisition Forms under the Franchise Acts
- Other Forms and Lists required by the Acts
The proposals will be considered according to the specifications provided by the County Secretary and Clerk of the Crown and Peace. The contract period will be for either one year or three years, starting from January 1st, 1906.
Certain requirements must be met by the tendering firms:
- The paper used for printing must be of Irish manufacture.
- Firms submitting tenders should adhere to the Fair Wages Resolution.
Each tender must be signed by the person submitting it and enclosed in a sealed envelope marked “Tender.” The tender should include the following information:
- The lowest price for which the tendering person is willing to contract for the work.
- The description and address of the person tendering.
- The names, addresses, and descriptions of two solvent individuals willing to act as sureties for the contract, with a bond for double the tender amount.
- The bond for the proper performance of the work should be signed within one week from the date of acceptance.
Specifications and forms for submitting tenders can be obtained from the office of the Secretary to the Council at 82 George Street, Limerick. Tenders must be submitted before 4 o’clock PM on Friday, November 3rd, 1905.
