The Board of Guardians for the Croom Union has announced their intention to receive and evaluate tenders from proprietors of Limerick newspapers for the publication of Union Advertisements and related matters. This tender process aims to secure a suitable newspaper to carry the Union’s advertisements for a duration of twelve months, ending on March 31, 1907.
Proposals from interested parties are expected to include a lump sum amount that the newspaper would charge for publishing the Union Advertisements and other associated materials during the specified period. The selected newspaper will also be required to provide a copy of each issue to the Clerk’s Office.
Tenders must be properly endorsed and should also contain the names of two solvent sureties who are willing to collabourate with the contractor in a bond to ensure the contract’s proper fulfillment. The deadline for submitting tenders is 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 15, 1906.
The Board of Guardians emphasizes that the acceptance of the lowest or any tender is not necessarily guaranteed. This announcement comes as the Croom Union seeks a suitable newspaper partner to handle their advertising and communication needs for the coming year.
