APPEAL FOR UNITY: Croom Demonstration Committee’s Ongoing Efforts

The Croom Demonstration Committee is not content with the success of their recent meeting held on Sunday. Determined to assess the depth of genuine unity among Irish leaders, they have taken proactive steps. Their attention has turned to the suggestion made by Mr O’Brien, advocating the expansion of Mr O’Dea’s peace proposal to include Messrs. Davitt, Healy, Harrington, and Sexton. They believe that adopting this approach could mend fractures within the National movement without compromising its interests. Copies of a letter conveying this solution have been dispatched directly to the mentioned gentlemen, urging them to embrace this avenue to restore harmony within the National ranks. The committee is committed to fostering unity for the greater good.
