The Limerick Harbour Board recently received a delegation from the Regatta Committee, which included individuals such as Messrs. P. O’Connor, A. J. Eskins, and T. Ewart. The purpose of this delegation was to request permission from the board to erect a stand in the customary location at the docks for the upcoming regatta event. Additionally, they sought the standard grant of £10 to support the event’s organization.
After deliberation, the board members reached a unanimous decision to grant both of these requests. The Regatta Committee was given the go-ahead to set up their stand at the familiar spot by the docks, and they were also awarded the requested grant of £10 to assist in facilitating the smooth execution of the regatta. This approval from the board signifies their support for the regatta and its role in promoting recreational and sporting activities in the area.
