A motorcar mishap involving Messrs. Finucane and Batley, Estates Commissioners, occurred a few days ago during their journey from Killarney to Limerick. While traversing the region near Barnaga, their motorcar collided with a horse and cart. In an attempt to maneuver safely past the obstacle, the vehicle ended up colliding with a ditch, resulting in damage to the car. Fortunately, despite the mishap, both occupants of the car emerged unscathed.
Following the accident, Messrs. Finucane and Batley sent for assistance to attend to the injured horse and the damaged cart involved in the collision. Subsequently, they continued their journey to Limerick by train, completing their trip by an alternative means of transportation.
