
The funeral of Constable Sheehan, who tragically lost his life in the Burgh Quay incident, was held in the city on Tuesday last and was met with an overwhelming public response. A solemn and imposing funeral procession accompanied the remains from Mount Argus to Kingsbridge Station. The funeral cortege was greeted by a large crowd upon arrival in Limerick, where the interment took place in Glin. The tragic loss of Constable Sheehan has deeply impacted the community, and his funeral was a poignant and sombre occasion, with people coming together to pay their respects to a brave and dedicated officer.
