EMERALD GAZETTE
Explore Irish history century by century with the EMERALD GAZETTE, a growing series of illustrated flipbook volumes created from the collections of the Emerald Archives. Spanning 32,000 BCE to 1999 CE, the complete series will comprise 340 issues, with each volume covering one century in chronological order. New issues will be published frequently as the archive builds, with the final issue published in June 2027, gradually creating a continuous journey through more than 34,000 years of Ireland’s past. Each volume brings together the archive’s historical articles and imagery in an engaging book-style format designed for easy reading and exploration.
