The Corporation of Limerick is calling for tenders from builders to undertake the construction of an addition to the caretaker’s cottage at Garryowen Reservoir. The detailed plans and specifications are available for inspection at the Surveyor’s Office, located in the Town Hall. However, the Corporation emphasizes that tenders will only be accepted from contractors who fully comply with the Fair Wage resolution set forth by the Corporation. This requirement aims to ensure fair labour practices and wages for workers involved in the project.
Sealed tenders must be submitted with the signed documents before 2 o’clock on Wednesday, the 10th of May. It should be noted that the lowest tender may not necessarily be accepted, and the final decision lies with the Corporation. The selected contractor will be obliged to sign a contract prepared by the Law Agent.
Interested parties are encouraged to attend to the above-mentioned conditions and submit their proposals as per the specified deadline. Further inquiries and submissions can be made at the Waterworks Office, Town Hall.
