Limerick Prepares for Technical Congress with Citizen’s Committee

Limerick, Date: The Limerick Technical Committee convened on Monday evening, under the chairmanship of Very Rev. Father Murphy. Also present at the meeting were Mr W.B. Joyce, B.Eng., and Mr M. Mcloerney. The main focus of the meeting was to discuss the upcoming Technical Congress scheduled to take place in Limerick. After thorough deliberations, it was decided to call a special meeting on Friday to appoint a Citizen’s Committee responsible for coordinating the arrangements for welcoming the Congress members.

The Technical Congress presents a valuable opportunity for Limerick to showcase its advancements and contributions to the technical field. The Citizen’s Committee will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless organization and reception of the esteemed participants.

A delegation was also appointed to meet with Mr Neville, the Traffic Manager, to discuss train arrangements to Adare. This move indicates the committee’s proactive approach to ensuring smooth transportation for Congress attendees.
