Limerick, Ireland: The Limerick County Council, in compliance with the Local Government (Ireland) Act, 1898, and its subsequent orders, announces an invitation for tenders to undertake essential repair and painting works for various courthouses within the county.
The Proposals Committee of the Limerick County Council will convene at the County Courthouse on Saturday, 20th April, 1905, at 10:30 am, to consider tenders for the following works:
- Repair and painting of Rathkeale Courthouse, with an estimated cost not exceeding £40.
- Repair and painting of Bruff Courthouse, with an estimated cost not exceeding £30.
- Repair and refurbishment of Kilmallock Courthouse, with an estimated cost not exceeding £10.
Interested parties are required to submit their tenders in the tender box located at the Secretary’s office no later than 4 o’clock pm on Friday, 28th of April. Tenders sent via post will only be considered if enclosed in a registered letter and delivered on or before the specified date.
Each tender must be duly signed by the submitting party and enclosed in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the respective work number and labeled as “Tender.” The submission must include the lowest sum for which the tenderer is willing to contract for the specified work, the contact details of the tendering party, and the names and descriptions of two solvent individuals willing to serve as sureties for the contract’s performance.
The detailed specifications for each work can be obtained at the Council’s office during regular business hours leading up to the specified date and hour mentioned above. It is important to note that the Proposals Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any tender, irrespective of being the lowest.
