Our esteemed readers will undoubtedly rejoice in the news of Mr Thomas Scanlan’s exceptional achievement. Son of Mr John Scanlan, a respected shopkeeper from Galbally, Co. Limerick, Mr Scanlan has recently passed the Second Arts Examination of the Royal University of Ireland with Honors.
