William Boyd, the esteemed master of Michael’s Church of Ireland School in Limerick, met a tragic fate during his holiday in Kilkee. While cycling, he encountered a fatal accident that led to his untimely death. On a fateful Monday, his bicycle skidded, and he was thrown against the parapet of a wall. Despite the best efforts, he never regained consciousness, and his life came to a sorrowful end.
William Boyd’s passing is a great loss to the school community and all who knew him. His dedication to education and his warm-hearted nature had left a positive impact on many lives. Now, the school mourns the loss of a beloved schoolmaster, and the entire community shares in their grief.
May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory be cherished forever.
