At a meeting of the Limerick No. 1 District Council, several matters were discussed:
- The Council received a letter from the Commissioners of Public Works regarding a loan of £1,500 for Ballinacurra sewerage. The loan was contingent on the Council guaranteeing the repayment of outstanding loans on their respective due dates. The Council agreed to this condition.
- The Clerk reported on the application for a loan of £170 for sinking a pump at Newgarden. The Council assured that they would make the necessary repayments as scheduled.
The meeting dealt with administrative and financial matters related to local infrastructure and public works projects.
